White Liquor Oxidation

The ShockWave Power™ Reactor can be used as both a partial and full oxidation unit for white liquor.  Conversion rates to thiosulfate and sulfate can be varied.  The SPR is a robust reactor that can easily attain the pressure and temperature conditions necessary for partial and full white liquor oxidation.  The oxidation is accomplished with less retention time than conventional technology due to the excellent mass transfer found in the device.  This can lead to cost savings, allowing white liquor oxidation to be economical under more circumstances.
