Mixing Thick Liquids

The ShockWave Power^™ Reactor harnesses cavitation to thick and viscous liquids in seconds.  The process intensity drives the mixing to be completely homogenous.  Whether in batch or continuous systems the SPR mixes thick liquids easily and uniformly.  This includes liquid-liquid, gas-liquid and liquid-solid.

The viscous mixing abilities of the SPR can be used for the mixing of thick pastes.  The images below show a paste mixed with a color.  The SPR creates a much more homogeneous gel as compared to a conventional technology such as a static mixer or homogenizer, which are often used to mix thick liquids.
