Particle Size Reduction
The SPR can be exploited in some cases for particle size reduction. The best particle size reduction applications are those with two liquids,
such as oil and water, or solids that contain micro fractures. With micro fractures, the cavitation shockwaves (pressure fluctuations) are able to pry apart
the solid similar to how an ax would pry apart wood. Examples of potential solids for particle size reduction through cavitation include some
minerals, many agricultural products and oils.
